Assistance and information

All the formalities for the creation of a company could be done at the Guichet Unique of the API with the help of relevant institutions :

• Treasury registrers of acts : related to the establishment of a company (by-laws, minutes and decisions of the administrative bodies)
• Tax Office : issues identification tax card and copies of the declaration of company creation
• Courthouse registry : provides a registration number to the company and registers the acts of hypothecation and the mortgage or nonmortgage certificates
• Customs-General Administration : issues the company customs code, necessary information about the required commercial documentation and the representative of the customs administration in charge of the totally exporting company outside the free trade zones
• The Legal Journal : publication with the Tunisian Official Journal (JORT)
• Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) : information on the project financing procedures and exchange transactions
• Municipality of Tunis : authentification of the signatures and documents duplicates
• CEPEX : the registration of international trade companies creation and information on the export procedures
• Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry : advises on certificates of origin and international road transport
